A furnished home prepared for a family in transition

Widows Oil Ministry

Loving our neighbor
like Jesus

wherever, whenever, however he asks us to.

Small gifts.
Multiplied by God.

You know the story. A widow came to Elisha with almost nothing — a small jar of oil and a debt that was about to take her children. He told her to gather every vessel she could find, and pour. She poured. The oil did not stop until the last vessel was full. That is still how this works. We gather the littles — a box of food, a bag of hygiene supplies, a coat, a piece of furniture — and we pour. Every time, God makes it enough. Every single time.

Philippians 4

This week has been a doozy. Rush, rush, rush — until I realized I had not made the time to simply be with him.
