Fully Armed With a Cheeseburger — Romans 12

Today I find myself in Romans chapter 12. If you haven’t sat down with that one lately, I suggest that you do. There are so many good things, all of it is good stuff that I won’t even start to pull it apart. A living sacrifice, pleasing to God, do not be conformed, be transformed, mature mind, that which is good and acceptable. I could sit here all day and reread it a hundred times and still there would be more and more. It ends on this note: “Vengeance is mine. I will repay.” Then a big old “but” — if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for by doing this you will heap burning coals on his head. Do NOT be overcome and conquered by evil but overcome evil with good.

Just know that today I am fully armed… with a cheeseburger and a cold drink… we will see how the enemy likes that!!
