Short Moment This Morning

Short moment this morning. All of us know the story of Lazarus but my focus is on Martha. She goes to meet Jesus. Her lead statement was “if you had been here” How many times has our hopes and dreams been preceded by a statement like that? IF YOU HAD BEEN HERE? Martha followed it up with and “Even now.” When all of our hopes and dreams lie dead at our feet, even buried so deep that we don’t believe that they can ever be resurrected back to us. Jesus still comes to us, he still shows up, he still has a plan for us. Don’t give up, don’t lose hope. ASK the Father. It is what Jesus told us to do. ASK.
