Acts 24:25

Are You a Procrastinator?

Are you a procrastinator? Do you intend to do something, go somewhere, talk to someone, lose weight, eat healthy, call a friend, visit your grandparents? Some of us have mastered the art of putting off today what can be done tomorrow. That works, sometimes, and then we miss opportunities that never come around again. We find ourselves grieving over those missed chances. I know I have a LONG list.

Acts 24: 25And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time… Go away for now and when I find a more convenient time I will send for you.

Do we treat God as a priority, or does he get the “I’ll get too it when it’s convenient.” memo? He certainly has never seen us as an inconvenience. We call, he is there, we ask he provides. He is always on ready, waiting for us to have time for him.

If you have been putting God off until it is convenient for you be sure you KNOW beyond any doubt that you don’t let the opportunity slip away. We all know that tomorrow is not promised but honestly your next breath, next heartbeat isn’t either. You only have this moment. If you are not sure of your relationship with God, use this moment, this second to fix that problem.

He is waiting.

Love, Pam
