Ecclesiastes 3:11
If You Are Looking for Me, You Will Find Me Over Here in Ecclesiastes
If you are looking for me, you will find me over here in Ecclesiastes. I will be here a while; it’s going to take a very long time for me to unpack what’s written in these pages. They tell me that no one really knows who wrote this book of the bible, but it is suspected that it was Solomon, son of David. Solomon was an intelligent man, and I am not but he sure does ponder some of the very same issues and conundrums (like that big word?) I do. I, to have questions, lots of them. The one line that stops me is in Chapter 3He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. ” He has also planted eternity ( a sense of divine purpose) in the human heart ( a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy except GOD). We as humans can not grasp or comprehend what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.I am thankful today that he chose to plant within me that longing, unexplainable but so very definitely there within me. A divine purpose just for me. I am not here by accident, I was created for such a time as this, by God. That longing is a beacon drawing me to him, continuously, without fail. He is guiding me home to him. Do you feel that pull? Love, Pam
