When Sleep Hides and Thoughts Race

When sleep hides and thoughts race and uncertainty reigns and you can only see and feel the brokenness of the heart that is when HE comes. He comes with clear certainty with his message of “Be still and know that I am God” That in the storm we can loosen our grip, calm our spirit and rest. He is here and he is in charge and in control. Yes the wind still howls and the waves still surge and the night is still dark, the battle still rages. He is still here.

Do we trust him? Absolutely. He has never lost a fight. I give it to him. Place it into his hands and find my place in stillness. The battle never belonged to me. It was his all along.

Today may you find his peace in the struggle.

Love, Pam
