John 9

There Are Some Strange Things

There are some strange things in the bible, frankly I’m not smart enough to decipher them by myself and I doubt I trust your version either.

Take this one for instance, God told Isaiah ( look it up ) Chapter 20 to strip off his clothes and shoes down to his underwear and walk around like that for 3 years! This was a sign and warning. I’m afraid that I’d have lots of questions might even try to do some bargaining to get out of that one. On the other hand some of these folks today just jumped right on it. So…?? what’s the warning ?

Then there is John 9And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? … where Jesus made a mud bath for a man’s eyes and he wasn’t blind anymore. That one is right up my alley. I’ve had lots of mud baths as a child and they were just plain fun until my Granny started scrubbing that dried mud off me. Can you imagine how his parents looked at him when he came home with that tall tale?

How amazed they must have all been. The thing is that they didn’t understand how it happened and it didn’t matter because it happened.
If God is asking you to do something weird and bewildering and maybe a bit embarrassing today, JUST DO IT!! It might be a beautiful thing in the making or a warning to heed. It will be ok. God said do it, you have his permission and mission.

Fair warning if you see me out here today with mud on my face and my behind on display just know it was NOT my idea but I’m doing what I was told. Y’all have a blessed day.

Love, Pam
