Widows Oil Ministry Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving Laurens County, Georgia. We take seriously the information you entrust to us — especially when someone reaches out in a hard season.

Who we are

What we collect

  • Contact form — name, email, optional phone, and your message.
  • Volunteer form — name, email, optional phone, areas of interest, and optional notes.
  • Phone and email reveal — we do not collect personal data when you verify to view our public contact details; verification is only to reduce spam and harassment.
  • Donations via PayPal — payment details are processed by PayPal under their privacy policy. We receive the information PayPal provides about the donation (such as name, amount, and email if you share them).
  • Technical logs — our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security, performance, and abuse prevention. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

How we use information

  • To respond to your message or prayer concern
  • To coordinate volunteering and goods donations
  • To thank donors and steward gifts for ministry programs
  • To protect the site and our inbox from spam and abuse

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade mailing lists. We do not use your data for commercial advertising.

Who receives your information

  • Ministry leadership and staff who need it to respond or coordinate care
  • Formspree — processes form submissions on our behalf
  • Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides bot protection (Turnstile)
  • PayPal — if you give online

If you share a situation involving personal safety (for example Safe Harbor), we treat that information with extra care. We do not act without your knowledge and consent when confidentiality is central to your safety.

How long we keep it

We keep contact and volunteer messages only as long as needed to respond and follow through, and for basic operational records. You may ask us to delete or correct information we hold about you by emailing or calling us (see contact details above).

Cookies and storage

  • Text size preference — stored in your browser session so larger type stays while you browse.
  • Contact reveal cache — if you verify to show our phone or email, those values may be stored in your browser’s local storage so you are not challenged again on every page. You can clear site data in your browser to remove them.
  • Announcement dismissals — may be stored locally so a dismissed banner stays dismissed.

We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
